UPDATED: The Auckland Energy Consumer Trust (AECT) has issued a statement in what it says is an effort to correct "misinformation about its legal status and that of the 75.4% of Vector Ltd [NZX: VCT] shares it holds."

Those shares are for “the benefit of Vector lines customers in Auckland, Manukau
