VIDEO: Key kicked out of Parliament after shouting over Shaw in Panama Papers spat

Prime Minister John Key was kicked out of Parliament this afternoon.

Wed, 11 May 2016

Prime Minister John Key was ordered to leave Parliament this afternoon after continuing to shout over Greens co-leader James Shaw, despite a warning from Speaker David Carter to stop.

The pair were arguing over the prime minister's statements about Amnesty International and Greenpeace being named in the Panama Papers database.

Mr Key brought up the charities' presence on the searchable database yesterday.

Mr Shaw wanted him to apologise after it was revealed the organisation's names were actually being used by scammers.

Mr Key refused to, saying it only proved his point that people, or organisations, could be smeared by association simply because their names are mentioned in the Panama Papers files.
