Vodafone bills money-back network guarantee as NZ first

Vodafone is trying a new tack.
Vodafone and Spark got into a stoush in March over who had the largest 4G network. Consumers tuned out of the tit-for-tat, which ended up in front of the Commerce Commission.
Now Vodafone is trying a new tack. The carrier says it's so confident in the speed and breadth of its network that it's offering a 30-day cancellation and moneyback guarantee.
"If any new customer on a monthly plan is not completely happy within the first 30 days, they can cancel their plan and get their money back," Vodafone NZ technology director Tony Baird says.
The company is billing the money-back guarantee as a NZ first.
