The company reports some customers were affected for about half an hour.
An email server re-boot solved the problem and investigations are underway to discovered the cause of the problem.
Vodafone reports no emails were lost.
An unknown number of Vodafone fixed line customers have lost email services this afternoon.
Spokesman Matt East said some customers were reporting issues but few details were available including total numbers and areas affected.
“The team is still working on the issues,” he said.
In August Vodafone email failed nationwide after a connection between two data centres failed.
