UPDATE 4.20pm: Vodafone says the problem is now resolved


Vodafone is experiencing intermittent issues with its 2G data services, TXT-a-Park, MTicket and Corporate Connect Services, the company said in a statement.

The problems mean some customers cannot access:

  • Browse internet or check emails on 2G devices.
  • Pay for parking using TXT-a-Park
  • Purchase tickets using MTicket
  • Mobile Eftpos.
  • Corporate Communication tools.
  • Mobile Data Network services.

2G voice and txt service is not affected, nor are any elements of the company's newer 3G services (voice, text and mobile broadband).

Vodafone said it was working on the problem, but did not have an estimated time to restore service. 

It said it would update again around 4pm.
