Police are warning Christchurch residents, businesses and contractors following the overnight theft of Red Zone security passes, uniforms and ID.
The stolen items may be used to gain goods, services or entry into homes.
Five vehicles were broken into at a group of flats at Champion St, St Albans.
Taken in the thefts were uniforms and ID that will allow entry to red zone and residential houses.
The stolen items include Aotea Electrical blue overalls, Fletchers Orange Fluro uniform with white helmet and attached yellow earmuffs and light on front; Fletchers ID; and a Red Zone security pass with the number 16140; Fletchers and Ward Demolition order books that can be used as cheques with suppliers; and a Ward Demolition Fluro uniform.
