Wealthy Auckland suburbs slugged again with big rates hikes

Aucklanders living in wealthy inner suburbs have been warned to expect rates hikes well above the 2.9% average increase being pushed by mayor Len Brown.

The mayor takes his proposal to the Auckland Council strategy and finance committee meeting today but critics say the figure is meaningless
