A provisional hearing date has been set for Chris Cairn’s perjury trial, UK media are reporting.
Mr Cairns has been charged with perjury following his 2012 libel trial against Lalit Modi, the founder of the Indian Premier League. He has indicated he will contest the charges.
The former Black Cap won about $190,000 in damages after Mr Modi accused him of match fixing.

Mr Cairns and his former lawyer Andrew Fitch-Holland, who is also up on charges, were granted bail earlier this month.
