You might have to retune some of your TV channels next week

Sky's free-to-air channel Prime’s is moving frequency from May 24, requiring some viewers to retune several channels.
The affected channels are Prime and two Mediaworks’ channels, Four+1 and The Edge.
The changes will affect some viewers with Freeview boxes and hybrid TV’s. Most Freeview devices will update automatically. Some Sky decoders will also be affected (see below).
The reason for the change is the removal of Prime’s two regional broadcast feeds, which allowed different advertising in different parts of the country, Sky says. From June 14, just one version of Prime will screen nationwide.
Those with SKY digital, most Freeview and Freeview DTT (digital terrestria) boxes, Igloo, My Sky (excluding My Sky 1) and Sky boxes can expect viewing as normal with no updates required, Sky says.
There could be a small number of Freeview boxes that require a manual retune due to the transponder carrier and/or the firmware version.

- May 24: An on-screen text crawler message will be displayed frequently advising a manual retune is needed.
- June 14: Viewers who have not retuned will see a full frame message slide on Prime. Four + 1 and The Edge channel viewers will see the crawler on screen text crawler.
- June 21: Viewers who have not retuned will experience loss of service on Prime, Four + 1 and The Edge channels.
