A biotech start-up with links to LanzaTech is creating gold using microbes.

Auckland-based Mint Innovation, which was co-founded in 2015 by ex-Lanzatech employee Will Barker, is getting around expensive, time-consuming and environmentally-damaging gold mining – by making its own.
