LATEST: Rotary pulls plug on John Ansell's 'Colourblind' launch
UPDATE: John Ansell told NBR "I'll be floating the idea of a party" at the Monday night launch of his Colourblind State campaign.
He will gauge the level of support for a Treaty-focused party, which would contest the 2014 election.
"It's important not to be seduced by your own supporters. To work, this campaign has to touch the millions, not the thousands, " Mr Ansell said.
The ad guru, who has raised close to $100,000, told NBR, "[I've] yet to contact major potential funders, as I want to show them evidence of action."

John Ansell will launch a "Colourblind State" campaign at an Auckland event next Monday evening.
Mr Ansell is best known as the man behind National's Kiwi/Iwi campaign in 2008, and ACT's "Fed up with pandering to Maori radicals" advertisements of mid-2011 (he quit the party the same week following controversy over his "white cowardice" remarks and a clash with then leader Don Brash).
In an email to several hundred supporters this morning, Mr Ansell said he shares Dr Martin Luther King's vision of racial equality.

His Colourblind campaign will focus on one law for all New Zealanders, votes on the one electoral roll, and whose taxes are spent by the state according to need, not race.
However, he does not go as far as announcing the launch of a "Treatygate" party.
Last week, Mr Ansell told NBR he was considering the creation of a single-issue party, which would contest the 2014 election.
He had raised almost $100,000 toward his proposed "Colourblind" ad campaign, he told NBR. His fundraisign target is $2 million.
The Monday night campaign launch will be held at the Remuera Rotary Club from 5.30pm. Further event details are on Mr Ansell's website.
