Sir John Key is retiring as chair of the country’s largest Australian-owned bank ANZ.

The ANZ New Zealand board has appointed Scott St John to replace the former prime minister next month.

Key was appointed chair in January 2018. He was New Zealand’s 38th prime minister from 2008 until retiring
