Vodafone has confirmed it will be shedding a significant number of contractor roles from its New Zealand operation but would not be drawn on how many positions will be eliminated.
Craig Jones, the telecommunications company’s head of external communications, has declined to comment further until consultations that will result in redundancies have been completed, beyond saying that reports that 700 management positions are also at risk are wrong.
