Coroner backs mandatory helicopter flight recorders
Report on 2015 accident blames fault in Robinson model.
Robinson R-22s are popular but also account for half of fatal accidents.
Coroner Alexandra Cunninghame has recommended flight data recorders for helicopters become mandatory. This follows an inquest at Queenstown last year into the deaths of the two occupants of a Robinson R44 helicopter.
