Abe wins snap poll but Japan's problems remain

Japanese Prime Minster Shinzo Abe has gained an extra four-year term in a snap election in which only half of the eligible voters cast a ballot.
The result, a landslide win to the Liberal Democratic Party, was not a surprise. It now has nearly 300 seats in the parliament’s 475-seat lower house
