ANZ Bank's retail operations continue to deliver rising profits but its commercial operations took a hit in the latest year.

The underlying weakness in ANZ Bank’s annual net profit was all in the commercial banking operations, with the retail operations continuing strong profit growth.
Net profit for the year ended September fell 13% to $1.54 billion, mostly reflecting accounting changes.
