Appeal could stymie Precinct Properties' $681 million downtown plans

Although Auckland Council has approved the rezoning of Auckland’s downtown Elizabeth Square, paving the way for listed Precinct Properties [NZX: PCT] to buy the land for $27.2 million, the decision may be appealed.

The company had been sitting on a conditional contract with the council since 2014
