Bay of Plenty and Waikato have displaced Canterbury as the fastest growing regional economies after top ranking Auckland.
The latest ASB Main Report scoreboard for the 16 regions finds Canterbury is still running hot but growth has plateaued and it has slipped down the rankings to fourth.
