Caltex Australia’s end goal in buying Gull may be acquiring Mobil New Zealand.
On Thursday, Caltex Australia, which is listed on ASX, said it is buying gull for $340 million or 8.2 times Gull’s forecast 2017 earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, or ebitda.
