Carmel and Hugh Fisher have bought Chateau de La Sur Mer on Takapuna’s swanky Clifton Rd for $22 million, $13 million below the asking price of $35 million.
The 1730sq m chateau is more than eight times the size of a normal large house and sits on nearly half a hectare of land.
