Consent given for Auckland's abandoned East West Link
Despite consent for the project, it has been scrapped by the government and Auckland's mayor.

Auckland’s East West Link board of inquiry has issued a draft decision granting resource consent to the NZ Transport Agency, although the highway was officially scrapped two weeks ago.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Auckland Mayor Phil Goff abandoned the project after the NZ Transport Agency
