Dairy commodity prices slipped at Fonterra's overnight online auction, with the globalDairyTrade trade weighted index down 1.3% from the previous auction.
That followed rises of 1.9% in mid-September and 16.9% early last month. The average winning price overnight was $US3591 ($NZ4794) .
For anhydrous milk fat, the average price rose 1.4% overnight to $US5256, butter milk powder rose 2.8% to $US3072, skim milk powder fell 0.9% to $US3221, and whole milk powder fell 2.1% to $US3521.
