Retail entrepreneur Malcolm Rands, appointed to the New Zealand Order of Merit in the New Year Honours list, has sold the Ecostore business that made him famous.
In a transaction, late last year Mr Rands sold Ecostore to Whyte Adder no 3, a company associated with wealthy investor Peter Kraus.
