Home fragrance company Ecoya has reported an operating loss of $2 million in the six months to September but revenue rose 176 percent.

The result included one month of trading from skincare company Trilogy, which was purchased on September 1.

The loss compared to a loss of $2.6m in the same period last year. Revenue was $4.4m and compared to $1.6m last year.

Former 42 Below executives Geoff Ross, Grant Baker and Stephen Sinclair, and former 42 Below Australia head Craig Schweighoffer are behind Ecoya. Air New Zealand chief executive Rob Fyfe is a director and shareholder.

Ecoya floated on the market in May.

It said today that it was on track to meet forecasts at the time of the initial public offer.
