Two years after voting to fund a $240,000 report, Beef & Lamb farmers have voted down a remit to implement its recommendations.

Red meat farmers have opted not to fund recommendations for “savings and positive opportunities” in a report the same farmers funded two years ago.
The Meat Industry Excellence (MIE) group lost its remit on a vote at the Beef & Lamb (B&L) annual meeting.
