A Green Party bill that would have allowed student loan repayments to be delayed and diverted into a fund for a first home, has been voted down in the House.
The Student Loan Scheme Amendment Bill 2016 – proposed by Green Party MP Gareth Hughes – was voted down with 73 votes to 48 (with NZ First
