A $50 Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay from the 2013 vintage was named best wine of the year at the 2014 Air New Zealand Wine Awards held at Taradale at the weekend.
Vidal Estate’s Legacy Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay 2013 was one of three vintages of that varietal that were among the 112 gold medal winners.
