Job growth stalls – where to from here?

New Zealand’s job growth has stalled and is starting to move in the wrong direction, the latest data from ANZ shows.

The ANZ Job Ads index fell 1.6% in June (seasonally adjusted), and was down 1.2% over the quarter.

Annual growth was down to 2.9% year on year, from 3.9%.
