Ms Guiney, who owns four dairy farms with her husband Kieran in South Canterbury, was the 2014 winner of the low-input Dairy Business of the Year.

Fairlie dairy farmer and former farm business consultant Leonie Guiney has been voted to the Fonterra [NZX: FCG ] board where she will join the two other successful director candidates, incumbents John Monaghan and David McLeod.
Shareholders Murray Holdaway and Philip Wilson were elected unopposed
