The postage stamp was a bit of a giveaway. In faking a legal notice he claimed to have sent to Westpac, liquidator Geoff Martin Smith used an envelope with a commemorative stamp depicting New Zealand’s longest reigning monarch. Unfortunately, the stamp wasn’t issued until 22 months after he claimed
