Market expectations for GDT miss by a mile

This morning’s 1.9% gain in dairy prices at the GlobalDairyTrade (GDT) auction missed market expectations by a country mile.
Just a week ago, the dairy futures market was indicating prices would rise 8%, but buyers weren't as desperate for product as the market had anticipated.
