New Appeal Court judge named
High Court Judge, Justice John Richard Wild, is stepping up to the Court of Appeal effective tomorrow, Attorney General Christopher Finlayson announced today.

High Court Judge, Justice John Richard Wild, is stepping up to the Court of Appeal effective tomorrow, Attorney General Christopher Finlayson announced today.
Justice Wild was appointed a Judge of the High Court in 1998.
He has been an author of McGechan on Procedure and was involved in a number of commissions of inquiry. From 1992 to 1998 he was a member of the Council of the New Zealand Bar Association and he served as its President in 1998.
In 1993 he was appointed Queen's Counsel.
