The Commerce Commission said it has received an application from New Zealand Comfort Group Ltd to buy all of Dunlop Living Ltd.
New Zealand Comfort, which makes beds and carpet underlay, was previously known as Sleepyhead Manufacturing Company Ltd.
Dunlop Living makes beds, carpet underlay and furniture and supplies foam to competing bed and furniture manufacturers.
