In Christchurch, mayor Bob Parker will show his support for Bike Wise at a breakfast on February 17 at the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology where he will show his support of Bike Wise Month - by trialling several electric-powered bikes!
Confused? Well it takes a bit of activity to plug in and charge up an electric bike but we think Mr Parker may be dreaming if he expects electric bikes to boost his fitness.
