Welcome to NBR's weekly Friday afternoon Open Mic thread!

Ex-Labour leader Andrew Little stepped down because of a poll. New Labour leader Jacinda Ardern can't seem to rise above questions about her biology while Green co-leader Metiria Turei smiles into the camera thinking it can't judge her.

Is the media choosing the tune in the 2017 election? Or do the political bigwigs still have the initiative?

What do you think?

Below are a few related stories about the week-of-strange-change:

If this doesn’t stoke your fire, post about anything else you want, ask random questions, whatever.

Have fun, readers!
