Govt to ease regulations on heavy vehicles to conserve fuel
Transporting NZ says the Government should not wait for the fuel crisis to get worse.
In phase four of the national fuel response plan trucks will be able to carry heavier loads.

The Government is making some immediate changes to rules around driving heavier zero-emissions vehicles as part of its response to the ongoing fuel crisis.
The permanent changes, which will be implemented as soon as possible, include allowing Class 1 licence holders to drive heavier zero-emissions
