Sean Plunket will leave RadioLive by the end of the year, multiple reports say.

Mr Plunket reportedly confirmed yesterday that his final show will be broadcast on December 18.

It is rumoured he may be replaced by colleague and fellow veteran broadcaster Mark Sainsbury, who has allegedly expressed interest in taking over the 9am to Midday slot.

Mr Plunket has been with the MediaWorks-owned radio station for three years, since he replaced Michael Laws.

He has also worked at Radio New Zealand, Newstalk ZB, TVNZ and TV3.
