Spark/Voda/2d JV wins Rural Broadband 2 funding — but Chorus gets a major consolation prize

An industry audience gathered at Mystery Creek at midday to hear who had won the $150 million Rural Broadband Initiative 2 tender: Chorus, a joint bid by Spark, Vodafone and 2degrees, or members of Wispa, a coalition of small ISPs.
