Thunder delays flights
Freak weather conditions have delayed some flights in and out of Auckland Airport.

Thunderstorms across the North Island have delayed several flights in and out of Auckland this afternoon.
Flights to Christchurch, Tauranga and Nelson are among those delayed late-afternoon departures.
Arrivals from Napier, Rotorua and Christchurch have also been delayed.
International departures are on time.
