Fonterra's head of Global Ingredients and Foodservice quits to join forces with US dairy company.

Fonterra has announced the resignation of managing director of Global Ingredients and Foodservice (GIF) Andrei Mikhalevsky who will leave the co-operative at the end of this year.
Mr Mikhalevsky has taken a senior role with US-based California Dairies Inc after nearly five years of managing Fonterra's premium ingredients business internationally.
“He has done a great job leading the premium business and forging strong customer partnerships,” Fonterra chief executive Theo Spierings says.
While a formal recruitment process is underway, Fonterra’s director of Global Formulated Foods Alex Turnbull will be standing in as the acting managing director of GIF.
