UPDATED: Financial records reveal Taxpayers' Union’s 2014 spending spree

Activist group the Taxpayers’ Union has made public its 2014 financial statements, showing a sizable rise in donated funds.

This has enabled the organisation to increase its spending significantly, notably on research and salaries.

It was also able to squeeze out a $12,000 surplus for the year,
