An employee from an air conditioning company in Gore has pleaded guilty to Serious Fraud Office charges relating to the theft of $600 thousand.

John William Jackson, 61, today appeared in the Gore District Court and pleaded guilty to six charges of accessing a computer for dishonest purpose, laid by the SFO in December.

Mr Jackson tapped into the computer system of air conditioning company Aire Res-Comm, where he was a director, to divert $604,779.87 into his own account over a three-year period.

He was remanded on bail for sentencing on March 31.
