In an election year, it was no surprise that politicians dominated the best-read list for NBR ONLINE's Ask Me Anything series.
I was surprised how light on his feet Andrew Little proved with some of his replies, dispelling some of his Dour Andy image (which would be later followed by Front-foot Andy; do look for National to try to turn his signature "cut the crap" quip against him by labelling him Angry Andy in 2015).
Politicians being politicians, some were bland and evasive. But even that could be telling, as was the case with Laila Harre — whose attempt to use Kim Dotcom's money for a higher cause ultimately came to grief. As ever in politics, the means don't justify the end; the means become the end.
